I started this course with concerns about my reading and writing and after a few days I nearly gave up. But I went back as I really wanted to learn. My tutor Leila, really encouraged me and helped me a lot as did the other students. It was a friendly group and we covered a lot of subjects. I am so much more confident now and I can see the improvements in my writing after the 2nd week. I would recommend this course to anyone who is unemployed. Thank you.

This has been the first time that I have been on an Development for Employability course to give me the skills that I need to find employment as I have only just become unemployed. I was very nervous about this course but after an hour of starting I felt very at ease with the tutor and the group. Leila my tutor has given me a clear understanding of what is needed to get the best out of me when applying for jobs. I now know the importance of a CV and the way I present it and think about what information is needed. I was given an mock interview with her and the feed back was really good and very helpful and it has given me the confidence I need to look for employment. This course has been enjoyable and really helpful. I would be happy to do another course again but hope to be in work very soon.

Came to the course with a vague outlook, after my first day on the 4 week course I felt at ease and that was down to the laid back and friendly attitude that was given by the tutor Andy Norwood. Am looking into doing the next step on my functional skills course with him in the new year
