The traineeship has allowed me to get good work experience which will help, this may lead to a full time job, I have a new CV and cover letter, as well as my Maths and English Certificates. My confidence has improved and I learned to stop knocking myself, especially with my dyslexia, thank you Scott for all the help on the course.

I wanted to achieve my first full-time job, hopefully in care, I had no experience in this area before but personal experiences of family being cared for made me want to do this and make a difference. I also wanted my level 2 Maths as I failed this at School and College.I received a lot more one to one support from Scott my tutor than I did at College, I was able to concentrate more, the way I was shown to do Maths differed and I was able to understand it easier. I gained more confidence as the group was smaller and we got on well.I was put on a work placement in care and my DBS checked funded, this helped me gain experience and training in care which I needed. I have more confidence and self-belief in my abilty, I have learned new skills and knowledge in care and will be doing more qualifications. More importantly I have started my first full-time job in Care which what I set out to achieve as a result of this. The placement has given me experience in the care sector and I have developed my Maths and English skills to use at work or in the future for interviews.
