Business Admin and Management Advanced Apprenticeships
Emma Holyhead

Business Administration Advanced Apprenticeship and
Management Advanced Apprenticeship

Employer: Hyperama

Emma is currently midway through her Management advanced apprenticeship, after previously completing a Business Administration apprenticeship with Deere.

Emma told us, “I learned more about my employer and this sector, but more importantly I realised more of my own skills and attributes. Within weeks of completing the [business admin] apprenticeship I was offered a promotion to Floor Supervisor, a completely different role but one which allowed me to understand management and offered me greater employment prospects. To support this promotion I enrolled on a Management apprenticeship with Deere and Scott [Flinton] (my assessor). This has been a positive learning experience so far and Scott has given me great advice with managing operations and people.

I have improved my Maths & English through functional skills, which was an area I was low in confidence on. I have recommended other staff to enrol on an apprenticeship with Deere.”
